"As the deer pants for
streams of water,
so my soul pants for You, O God.
My soul thirsts for God,
for the living God.
Why are you so downcast,
O my soul?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I shall yet praise Him,
my Savior and my God.

Daddy Lord,
As we humbly bow our knees to thank you for what you have done for us, we offer our troubled hearts and tortured minds to you. We put on your throne of mercy, your children that have passed on. We commit the souls of the soldiers who died in action while bringing glory and honour to their country, in thy hands. We offer the stillborn babies who had no chance to breathe, in your care for you have said, “let the little children come to me.” And we place the miscarried babies that have never been seen and will never be touched by their mothers and fathers, in your godly hands.
The list is endless merciful father
Your children are killed everyday (some for no obvious reason, while others for the honour of their country)
Your children are dying from different diseases. (Cancer is eating your children away,
Aids is slowly taking your children away, Heart attacks and failures take your children in a second)
Your children are being persecuted for the love and money and leave their souls betrayed
Accidents snatch your children from us, In despair they take their own lives
Your children have been drown away by the waters. Your children just fail to wake up.
They die in their sleep due to wrong prescription by medical experts and drug abuse.
Your children will never experience the beauty of being born
as they die whilst in their mother’s womb
All because of death dear Lord
Death robs us so quickly
It does not choose
It is so unfair
Our hearts are filled with anguish and pain and memories haunt us
Each day we search for answers but have failed to find them
We try to think but thinking is the hardest work anyone can do
We try to reason but still remain broken hearted.
Heal our broken hearts... Seal our wounds... Remove our pain...
Dry our tears... Speak words of comfort...
For you are our shelter... You are our refuge... You are our father.
ABOVE ALL DEAR LORD WE ASK THAT YOU MAY LEAD US TO REST.
